I love, love, love Funk Bros. I've been taking my Jeep there for years (off of a referral I am truly grateful for) and have had nothing but positive experiences. Everyone knows what they're doing, they provide honest estimates, great work done in a timely manner, and they stand behind their work. Plus, they're right behind the Arclight so you can catch a matinee while your car is being serviced... a seriously pleasurable way to deal with the inevitable car drama.

Very nice and knowledgeable people, serviced my car right away. But $105 to replace a headlight connector (which i have provided)?? Way out of hand.

Came in earlier because my car was stuck in 'park'. The tow guy helped fiddle with the gears so I could drive it over (I live less than a mile away) and I was worried it'd run up hundreds of dollars - mind you, my car's old and not worth that trouble - I just need it to drive, period. Luckily, it was a minor issue and the mechanic fixed it in minutes - for free, too. Definitely coming back.

Good guys over here at Funk Bros. I know a good amount about car stuff, but I like to kinda let the repair guys tell me whats wrong and then compare it to what I thought in the first place. I have a 1982 Chevy truck that is a little rough and needs some love. Funk bros. was helpful in letting me know what needed to be done and telling me the truth about my truck. They even fixed my door that was a little loose! These guys are trustworthy and I will def. let them work on all my other cars in the future!

I brought in my crappy 1989 minivan for transmission problems. They talked me through all the different possibilities of what could be wrong, and did not push me toward taking any action. In fact, they told me to hold off on changing the transmission fluid until they had a chance to test drive it and check it out. Then he ended up putting 3 quarts of transmission fluid in my car for FREE so he could see if it ran any better. It did. All the diagnostics, test drive, advice, and fluid was free. They called me at every step of the way to get my consent. I ended up deciding not to do anything, given the age of my car -- and so I picked it up full of transmission fluid, without ever paying a dime. Honest, thorough, professional, and will not force you into anything. If I were going to stay in LA, this is where I would bring my car!

This is a shop right off of Ivar and you for sure have driven by it if you've ever gone to the ArcLight. Of course I am not originally from LA. Living in Colorado growing up is a little different from California so naturally you are always cautious in making choices and trusting people. Especially being a girl who doesn't know much about cars. Funk Brothers is truly fair in what they charge, they have the work done quick, and I never feel like I have to question what they do. Not to mention that I drive a lot for work so God knows how much they've done for my car. I couldn't be any happier.

Funk Bros. saved my car! Hovig and his team are truly admirable. They are professional, honest, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. My mobility was in their hands and they not only preformed a triple bypass surgery on it to save it, but returned it to me quicker than I would have ever anticipated. These guys are seriously the best! They installed new rear struts for over $300 less than Pep Boys quoted me! They were super nice and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I have gone back twice for a check engine light and a tire leak - they were able to check it out right away and didn't charge me :) Hovig is very helpful and explains everything. I can't tell you how great it is to find a trustworthy mechanic in Hollywood. I definitely recommend this place!

These guys truly are the best in town. Not only do they service modern vehicles, but also older cars like my '66 Beetle. It's great to know when a home wrencher like me can't get all the air out of his brakelines he can bring it to Funk Bros and they'll happily get the brakes working right and fast!
