Best oil change service ever!!! I love Funk Bros. My go-to place for all of my car needs. Been using Funk Bros for 2+ years and never had anything but a perfect experience. Reliable, trustworthy, and reasonable rates. A++ Highly recommended!!!

My husband and I have been taking our cars to Funk Brothers for about 4 years now. At this point I will never trust my car to anyone else. Hovig is honest, reliable, and really knows cars. I recently had a little encounter with a wall causing about $3500 to repair. I didn't realize until now that Funk Brothers does body work in addition to mechanic work. At first I was a little reluctant to have them do the work as I hadn't seen any reviews for their body work. Because our experience with their mechanic work has been so outstanding, I decided to have them do the job. Funk Brothers did amazing work. My 1998 Mercedes looks like new. He used the super expensive paint to match my original paint job - something that my previous auto body guys failed to do which had resulted in chips and peeling along the bumper, Hovig haggled with my insurance company (Farmers was horrible to deal with) and insisted on doing the work correctly even when Farmers wasn't willing to cover it. I am a very satisfied customer.

I admit I have only been once to this establishment, but I was very impressed with the service and just the feeling I got from the place. My car is a 1958 British classic so I don't like to just take it to anyone. The good thing is they were open on a Saturday which helps when you have a busy week. They were very friendly and helpful and explained what the possible problems I may have and the options. After an hour I returned and they explained the issue and also the remedy even though they were not able to repair the wheel alignment problem. This was due to the fact that they did not have the equipment required due to the age of my car, in fact no mechanic does except a specialized british classic car mechanic. I got an oil change though and the service was efficient, friendly, educational and pleasant. I hope this helps.

I met up with the guy I was trying to purchase my first car from. I showed up at Funk Brothers and they gave me an honest assessment of the car and what was wrong with it. The mechanic who helped me was the son of the man who owned the place and he was awesome. He ran checks on the car to make sure everything was in top shape and pointed out several areas where the car might need work. I highly recommend going to Funk Bros for any auto help. Very helpful/nice staff and they seem to be one of the only honest mechanics in LA.

I literally gave these guys multiple opportunities to charge me extra and each time they did the right thing and just did the work that was needed. First my engine light has been going on and off for a few months...which a few other places told me was the O2 Sensor that needing replacing. Well I'm finally ready to get it done and I go to these guys to do it and they said no need yet. Not worth spending the money until the light is on all the time and their diagnostic test says there is absolutely something wrong with the sensor. Well that was, uh, nice. Then I said go ahead and look under the hood and tell me what work needs to be done cause I'm over 80,000 miles and on the road a lot. "Nothing needs to be done." Sorry, you're a mechanic telling me not ONE THING needs to be done? Ooooookay. So then how much are you charging me for an oil change, fluid fill up and tire rotation? "$26 sir." Funk Brothers it is from now on...

Searching back on my long and storied past that includes many, many dealerships, auto repair stores, brake shops...you name it, I can't recall a single time I was more pleased with price or service. I'll be back here for sure.

I give Funk Brothers and specifically Jovig a BIG five stars. I had to repair the bumper of my ex-boyfriend's truck and not only did Jovig do a superb job with the repairs, he was incredibly kind, understanding and sensitive about the situation. Funk Brothers went above and beyond all expectations and made what could have been a stressful and financially tough situation very smooth, fair and pleasant experience.

These guys came highly recommended and now I know why. I've been taking my car to them for almost a year. Reasonable prices, honest assesments and great service. They even checked my "check engine" light for free and reset it (turns out gas cap was loose).

I've only been here for oil and filter changes, but the guys have always been more than helpful and never pushy on trying to sell me on stuff I don't need for my car! As a young woman I always feel like car shops are trying to take advantage of me because I don't know what I'm talking about, but unbeknownst to them my grandfather owned an auto repair shop my whole life and I know more about cars then most women! The price, friendliness and honesty keeps me coming back to Funk Brothers! I'd recommend them to any of my friends!

I have been going to Funk Brothers for 7 years now. They have always gone out of their way to save me money. I owned a Porsche that was extremely expensive to maintain and Funk Brothers always manged to repair any problems at a price that always made me smile. Not only that, but they truly show customer loyalty and would always go out of their way to see me as soon as possible and have me back in my car in no time at all. My girl friend was worried that her breaks were bad on her Chrysler and we took it in to have the breaks done. We left the car with Hovig at F.B. and 30 minutes later i received a phone call that there was nothing wrong with the breaks and they still had quite a bit of life in them. Unfortunately I am moving out of state soon and one of the things I am worried about is being able to find a new mechanic that is as honest and fantastic as Funk Brothers has been.
