Total pros, good use of technology, polite, fair pricing. Nice job overall, I'd recommend for sure.

Incredible honesty and friendliness! I took my car in to the dealership for a warranty repair. At the time they mentioned that I would need to have several services performed on my vehicle, the total of which would be around $800. I contacted Funk Brothers Automotive to find out what their quote would be. The general manager gave me a quote half of what the dealership mentioned. I brought my car in the next day, and they inspected my car. Since I had to do some work, they were kind enough to allow me sit in their waiting area to do my work. After some time, they said that the services recommended by the dealership were actually unnecessary! I truly appreciate Joe and his team's honesty since I would have easily paid the $400 for the recommended services to my car without question. It is hard these days to find such integrity in a business. Thank you!

Fantastic shop run by some real standup guys. I brought my Jeep GC in a bit later than my verbally set appointment on a Saturday and they were great about accommodating me. I also didn't know they had short hours on Saturdays and wasn't going to make it back before close. They aren't open on Sundays, so we had to leave it for a bit. I call to let them know I screwed up the timing picking up the Jeep and their response was "no inconvenience at all, we'll store it until you're ready." We pull up first thing on Monday morning and it was inside their service bays nice and safe. Perfect. I've been jerked around by too many service people in my day, and these guys are an absolute breath of fresh air. So long as we're in LA, I'm going to Funk Brothers.

When I took my Honda to the dealer for a safety recall, they said I needed $4300 worth of work. I took it to Funk Brothers, and they determined what was necessary.Their bill was only $1500.

I recently purchased a 1966 Mustang convertible. Before buying it I had the car inspected and was told it was in great condition. It was shipped to me from Detroit. Two days after getting the car I noticed a leak under the car that looked like power steering fluid and another that looked like it could be transmission fluid. The next day I saw a small amount of antifreeze so thought I had better take the car in to have it checked. I took the car to Funk Brothers based on the glowing reviews. I left the car at 9 AM and was told I would get a call by noon with an estimate. Finally at 2:45 PM I called and asked what the status was. I was told I will call you in 5 minutes. I called again at 3:30 PM and was told oh sorry I forgot let me get the paper work. I was put on hold 15 mins and he came back and told me he emailed me the estimate. I looked at the email and was shocked to see the estimate was over $2,200. It stated I needed a new water pump (okay I believe that) it stated I needed new power steering components (they were redone just before I bought the car). Also said I needed to rebuild the transmission which was recently done. I went to pick up the car and there was a mechanic there and I asked him and the person at the cash register does it really need all this? The mechanic responded "I put it on lift, has leaks" and shrugged his shoulders. Today I took the car to a mechanic in Glendale. While I was there they put it on the lift, cleaned the motor, dried it and let the car run on the lift for an hour to determine where the leaks were coming from. It was an extremely busy shop and the mechanic worked on two other cars while I was waiting but let me watch what was going on with me car. They agreed the water pump needed replaced. Found there was no leak in the transmission but a fitting that a hose connects to needed repair. They checked the power steering and determined it needed a power steering control valve. This mechanic let me see under the car and explained that my car had many new parts and was in excellent condition for being 53 years old. Funk Brothers told me it would be 7 days to repair. I am picking the car up tomorrow at 2 PM from the other mechanic and the cost $600. Lower price and a full warranty on the parts and labor.

These guys are great. They get me in easily. Their estimates have always been on point, very often I end up paying a little less than the estimate. I've never had to bring my car back because of shoddy work. They have great attitudes and they get the job done as quickly as possible. Highly recommend.

Been going here for years. These guys are really good and very straightforward. Best mechanics I've ever used in quality, consistency, and price.

I went in in a panic with random car lights not turning off and they were so helpful and kind! I will definitely be going back for any more car issues!

These guys are amazing. My gear shift cable snapped in my 2012 Fiat in the middle of a Trader Joes parking lot and when I got home, they chatted with me on their website at 8 PM on a weeknight and helped coordinate a tow truck with me. They are great with communication and I feel truly know the best way to save money while doing an excellent job. It's hard to find people who work on Fiats, let alone work on them well. I love how honest everyone at this shop is and overall excellent customer service.

They don't serve coffee, they don't have a waiting room, they don't do B.S. What they do is fix cars and fix them well. Dropped the car Monday and it was ready with the new clutch by Wednesday afternoon. Price relayed fell right into the norm for parts and labor on a clutch job. They even warned me about the new power I'd have in 1st gear as I release the clutch and stepped on the gas. Whooo boy, they weren't kidding! I appreciate the service, the promptness, the respect and knowledge.
