Best mechanic. Best prices Great owners. I travel over 20 miles to use Funk Brothers. I came for an oil change which I could have gotten anywhere but no one touches my car but Funk Brothers. Turns out I needed rear brakes but if some other mechanic told me that I would have had to come here anyhow. Start here for all mechanic needs and go home happy and safe

Had a great experience here the other day getting my vehicle aligned. They were quick and courteous. They had my car in and out in about 2 hours at a cost of $65.

Still the same great people and fantastic work as there first shop.... In fact there productivity and efficiency is even better !!!! I've been going to funk bros for about 8 years now and I won't go to any other mechanic first. I always say if your a client and there knowledgable to know you on a first name bases the business is above par and deserves the credit due.... Thank you always hovac

Helpful and honest people! Good communication and great service. Taking my car in to get fixed is stressful for me since I don't know a lot about cars. They are always very clear and patient; often presenting options that were not necessarily best for their immediate business because it was what was best for me and my car. Display a clear focus on building trustworthy relationships with their customers rather than trying to get a quick buck.

I reaallly wanted to like Funk Bros and gave them multiple tries and many thousands of dollars over 6 months. And truthfully, they are... fine. You'll get your car fixed, but you might have to bring it back again for a follow-up issue or something they forgot to address, or live with an underwhelming/incomplete job. With their inflated prices, lack of attention to detail, and Hovig's sensitive ego, you really can do better elsewhere. These guys aren't shady, but they just aren't that great either. Most of their 5-star reviews are for smog checks and tire stuff, so be aware of that when you rely on their ratings/reviews for more complex work. Six months ago, I bought a classic car -- a 1963 Ranchero. This place represents itself as having expertise in classics, so I brought it to Hovig to fix the handful of issues I knew it had, and also asked him to do his own thorough bumper-to-bumper inspection, stressing that I wanted the car to be as safe and cherry as possible. Basically, I gave the dude a blank check to make sure the car was in tip-top shape when I drove it off his lot. He did fix the issues (at the high-end of pricing), but he also nicked the paint, and some of his work failed, like the turn signal cancelling switch. He blamed the part, but improperly secured wires started poking out of the gap between the steering column and wheel and then shorted out, causing me to lose brake light functionality and requiring another visit to the shop. He tried to address the paint he damaged, but with a color that didn't exactly match. He blamed the difficulty of environment on the painting process, but another shop touched it up no problem after I decided Hovig's coverup wasn't going to cut it. Hovig also upgraded the front brakes from drum to disc at his suggestion because I said "make sure this thing has safe and reliable brakes!" But he never suggested replacing the master cylinder, which failed not long after, bled out all the fluid, and caused us to lose our brakes on the road and get into an accident. What sort of "expert" upgrades the brakes but leaves a 50-year old critical part? He blamed us for driving an old car too much and even told our insurance company the car wasn't meant to be driven as frequently as we drive it. In six months, we've driven it less than 1000 miles. He also insinuated to us that someone else must have worked on the car. Nope, Hovig, just you. I gave you that trust, which I guess was a mistake. Hovig also has a fragile ego. If you even come close to remotely suggesting a problem could have been related to work they did or should have done, Hovig will get offended and give you a patronizing and stern talking to. Aside from all the above, the high prices, and Hovig's ego, I'd often arrive at the shop at the agreed upon pick-up time and things wouldn't have been reinstalled on the car, like the steering wheel or the gas pedal cover. Or original parts I'd ask to be returned to me were nowhere to be found and had to be located later, requiring another visit on my part to collect them. If you've got a simple problem on a newer car, and some extra money to give away, this place is fine. If you are looking for expertise on more challenging repairs, especially on a classic, and an ongoing positive relationship with a skilled mechanic, look elsewhere. You don't need the headache, and Hovig acts like he doesn't need the business. He wants to chalk up this negative review to my frustration with my insurance company's decision. Sure, I'm upset that the "expert" I asked to overhaul our car's brake system to make sure it was safe and reliable threw us under the bus to our insurance company to cover his own rear end, but that was just the last entry on a growing list of issues with Funk Bros. And by the way, our insurance company ended up reversing their decision and found us not responsible for the accident since we had the car at Funk four times in six months. So Hovig assuming I'm only mad because of an insurance decision isn't accurate -- I'm actually just mad at Funk Bros for their work and customer service.

Hovig and all the guys have been so wonderful and attentive and accommodating each and every time I've had to bring my car in. I know my civic is in good hands with Funk Brothers and I couldn't recommend them more! Thanks guys!

Really clean and professional shop. These guys know a ton about just any car and even the old ones. They spent a lot of time on my truck just figuring out what was wrong without any charge. I'd take any car to them.

Great guys, very friendly. Had an idea of what was wrong with my car and was of course, wrong. Was scared how much it was going to cost but was very happy to hear the problem was not as severe as I had self diagnosed. I had my car towed there at 3:30pm and picked it up at 9:00am the next morning. The towing was more than the repair. Highly recommend

Super impressed with their customer service and transparency. I really hate finding auto shops and I am really glad I found this place. Always feels good to leave an appointment feeling confident and not frustrated or ripped off. I will definitely be going back for any upcoming car repairs and maintenance.

Great honest mechanics. I came in to fix a tail light. They did it right away and at a great price. Super nice guys.
