Words cannot express my gratitude to Mr. Hovig and his team! I emailed Mr. Hovig many times before bringing in my Porsche for a complete brake job and he answered all of my questions with utmost respect. I was not going to pay $4k at the dealership for brakes but still wanted to change the brakes and rotors with the same brand done by Porsche. He gave me the best deal out of all the places I messaged, took care of my vehicle within a few hours, and followed up to make sure everything was working properly. I personally don't know anything about cars but know how easy it is to be taken advantage of in these situations. I could not have been happier with my experience at Funk Brothers. I called numerous places, and Funk Brothers stood out immediately. They were honest, responsive and helped me understand the problem and each step necessary to fix it. I would use them again for any automotive need.

This place is first rate, from the minute they pick up the phone to the minute they return your car. I had a faulty navigation system and Honda wanted $800+ to replace. I brought my car in, they spent the time to take the nav system apart and diagnose that all I needed was a new LED screen. While they couldn't fix it themselves, they recommended another service center that would help. I picked up my car expecting at least some charge for their time and labor, but it was all gratis. These guys are the real deal.

This battery change cost me 700$+ . While changing my battery, these guys stole (from my car) two pairs of Raybans and MY ROOMMATES CAR KEYS, (that were in the glove department box). I had to replace his keys for an out of pocket cost of 420 dollars. Raybans had cost me about 150$ each when new. . They then refused to show me the correct security camera footage. Or to help me. They kept BSing this frase: "you probably dropped the keys outside the shop" (When I'm very clear that they were in the car) . Do society a favour, fix your car somewhere else.

Really pleasant experience...not something you can say after leaving mechanic. Super helpful, fair price, very knowledgeable about my car.

This is the most honest shop I've ever been to. My car is a 2007 and I've been having a few issues this year. I got my oil changed in May or something with a return date of August or a certain number of miles. My air conditioner died in July so I came back and had to pay a pretty penny to fix it but I said "let's just do the oil too since I'm here" and they said it was way too early and I was under mileage for it. I had to go back the other day because something else was wrong with the Ac and also tried to get my oil changed and expected a hefty fee. The oil was still too early so they didn't want me to get charged and they did the ac fix for free. They do what you need without overcharging you and try to help you save where you can. They give you options and are super helpful. Would definitely recommend

Funk Brothers is the most loyal and professional automotive service in LA! They not only resolved my issue but I was was accommodated and out quickly! They have the best warranties! They are safe and I trust them!

I took my classic Buick to them this weekend. By the time I arrived home, Funk had called me to say that my car was running perfectly. When I got back to Funk Brothers, I was told to start my car. My engine was shaking from side to side and I complained to the owner. All he said was that there was no charge for the work they did, which wasn't much. As I drove off their property on La Brae, my car wanted to die in the middle of the street. They might be good at oil changes and brake jobs, but so is everyone else. No honest, respectful mechanic would give a customer a car that he said was running fine, without a bill, and send him on his way. These guys are third rate clowns.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! I got my job done on budget and on time with a straightforward quote. These guys know what they are doing. Highly qualified to deal with my classic Mercedes. My first visit was to replace an A/C compressor. I am going back to get my water pump replaced this week. Hovig, the manager (owner?), is very pleasant to deal with and clearly explains what needs to be done. Highest recommendation.
