My car had a radiator issue and Funk Brothers treated the issue with care notifying me throughout the process and fixing the vehicle within the soonest time frame safely. I have an unusual car from a time period (80s-90s) many, many mechanics have told me is difficult because of parts availability, lack of knowledge, etc. Seriously, every place I've been to, the mechanics have been dicks about this car. I work in retail, so it's been startling to have people be outright hostile and dismissive when I'm attempting to pay them to do something. I tried Funk Bros. on a whim, and couldn't have had a better experience. They listened to me, assured me my car was fixable, and proceeded to do a great job in a more-than-reasonable amount of time. When tricky situations arose (odd-size hoses, locking wheel nuts with no key, etc) they let me know what was happening, and then they solved the problems. Short version: they were nice; they did what they said they'd do; and I will gladly give them my money every time.

I was referred to Funk Bros through a friend. He recommended them because they are very fair! My first experience was with Hovig. He was very friendly and fair. He was very honest in my options and what it would cost to fix my car for each option. The second time I worked with Armen and he too is very friendly and fair! I am a single woman and at no point did I ever feel like either of them ever tried to take advantage of that. If they can't look at your car for an hour, they will tell you. None of this "it will only take 15 minutes". Don't get me wrong when they can get you in and out, they are quick! I won't go anywhere else! I even priced them around against other places and I couldn't find a better price. Like I said: fair, honest and reasonable! I couldn't ask for better! P.S. Stating as a response to a review listed above, I am a white woman and my friend is a black man and both Armen and Hovig were very friendly to us.

Don't bother getting an online estimate from here. It seems someone just throws out a number then when you actually get to the shop it's a completely different number. Gas is too high and it's too damn hot! Extremely poor customer service. Was given a quote of $400 by someone via Yelp. Got there in person only to be quoted $1100?! For an a/c repair. Front desk guy was extremely rude and kind of condescending. I didn't even argue I just walked out and will never go to this place again.

They are always helpful and get the repairs done efficiently. I have been using them for a couple of years to service my 14 year old Chrysler. Recently had the upper radiator hose unit blowout which they replaced quickly saving me from canceling a road trip.
